after meeting up wif friends these few days, I just realised how lucky I am to enter medic school..everyone's going thru so much more hardship than me..
supposed to go out wif the class ytd, but everyone backed out the last min.. ended up spending the whole saturday morning and afternoon pigging at home, watching tv,banging on the piano, looking at pretty scgs girls pics on friendster haha..
got a call from charles in the late afternoon.. he wanted to crash my pig-sty-like house.. ended up bringing him to the west mall arcade haha.. was really surprised to see Joy with him as well haha.. *grinz*
went to town after that to meet Grace for a movie.. surprise surprise.. her sisters were all there..ended up giving Miss congeniality 2 a miss as the queue was friggin long.. went over to her house for dinner and guess what, watched HAROLD AND KUMAR... AGAIN.. for the 3rd time.. so tempted to just blurt out the whole story to her haha.. didn't even watch the dvd I rented :( oh well..
gonna book in tonight.. sad.. next week's gonna be my first IV drip jab.. pray for meeeeee....

hmm here's the start of my wonderful journey in medic life :)
advantages:
-there are pretty girls everywhere, i.e. my PS, my OC, my platoon mate :)
-a lot of admin time
-8 hrs of sleep a day
-frequent canteen breaks
-nice sergeants
-nice bunk mates
-no tough physical training
-lectures in comfortable LTs..
-RO's always at lift lobby beside our bunks
disadvantages:
-lots and lots and lots of studying
-long torturous lectures
-which are boring
-hafta wake up very early, 0445hrs..
-have 5bx everyday
-have inspection parade everyday
-standby area takes very very long
it's only the beginning and they've crammed the O level bio syllabus into our thick heads.. no way were we expecting so much studying in this medic course..no way did I expect to see pretty girls in the army..no way did I expect to be platoon mates wif a staff sergeant from the NDU..
gonna do my first IV practice next week, and a whole lof of tests..IV btw's poking a hole in the vein to administer drips..yikes

just got my NS posting today..
COMBAT MEDIC.
really disappointed that I didn't get sispec.. but oh well, God has his reasons..
quite freaked out from my friends' reactions when they found out I was posted as medic..
"hope you're not afraid of needles"
"hope you'll love taking your temperature from your ass"
"hope you;re thick skinned(needles)"
oh well, I gotta accept it someway or another.. it's gonna be a 11 weeks course at some medical corps sch at nee soon camp somewhere at sembawang.. at least I'm not bound by tekong ferry timings :)

next few days gonna be busier than usual..
gonna go down today to help out wif the movement of furniture out of my soon-to-be renovated church, then probably gonna meet joy and josh for lunch..then maybe go back to help somemore...
going to sentosa on sat!! finallyyyyyyyyyy!
hmm.. no time to do my uni application essays yet again.. DIE!

here's what happened today . . .
woke up pretty late, messed around with the piano
met up with my army buddies in town for pool, lunch and lan..
saw this group of girls carrying squash rackets whom I assumed were from mgs.. one of them stood out so outstandingly from the others, short hair, a lil tanned, flawless face! ahhhh! damn damn sweet girl..
okay, so i pointed out that girl to my buddies, but I guess they weren't even interested.. so tempted to ask for her number but it seemed ridiculous, and it actually is.
after lunch and lan, I was walking back to the park mall bus stop and hey hey hey, guess who I bumped into again... ahhh!!! Ok I went mad, I think she noticed me taking short and quite obvious glances at her, but who cares haha!
and you know what, I ended up taking the same bus, and sitting beside her! ahh.. sigh but nothing happened, no balls to do anything..sigh.. and I think I'm still on a sugar high coz of that eye candy! ahhh...
oh well, so many things ahead and I've got no time to do my essays for uni application.. someone help me write them ! gonnna get my army posting this fri too..i think I'm feeling even more nervous waiting for this posting than getting my A level results hahhaa..crap

just got this new blogskin, since I had so much time to spare haha!
I just realised that being in the army can be a blessing too.. Dun hafta face the stresses of work , studies, relationships.. 2 years of break from all these stresses, just following orders and i'll be fine :)
but guys, have u ever wondered what NS would be like if it's co-ed?
our performance would improve exponentially for a start
in the meantime, I'm gonna spend my hols reading NUS brochures and playing the piano.. can't believe I find it entertaining, the NEW ME :)

i need to get out of town pretty soon, then i'll be less stressed and maybe add a few years to my life haha.. right.. guys msg me if u have any holiday plans k??? i really need it haha!
probably gonna spend this week learning David Lanz's piano pieces... u guys shld try them out. rocks.
and probably gonna watch every movie in town :)

had this useless NE excursion thing on thurs, woke up early just to get to changi village by 8, just to hear them inform us that the timing was changed to 1315hrs... so we had 5 friggin hrs to burn in changi.. wonderful..
ended up spending so much money on food and lan
had to book in that night coz of Standard obstacle course (SOC) test the next day, ARGH!
wanted to go out today to catch a movie wif friends, but no one's free :( goonnna play lots of badminton later to kill time then..
hopefully I'm gonna enjoy the barker carnival and NUS open house tmr, and hopefully a movie or two..
ONE WHOLE WEEK TO SPEND! feel so lost, dunno what I'm gonna do, if only I had someone special to spend my time with

brought in my prom photos to camp to show my sergeants and my bunk mates.. from their response, the girls in other JCs are not as good looking as ACJC girls haha..
finally got out of camp after 12 days ! gonna get my results in 2 hrs time and bookin in tmr night :(
stuck in camp over the weekend due to this thing called SITuational test.. these 3 days of leadership testing was more tiring than our 7 days field camp.. got punished when I came back coz I didn't eat my rations... WTH.. punished for going on a diet haha.. SAF..
came back from the jungle in time for FOUNDERS DAY haha.. the few acs peeps in my platoon all sang the sch anthem b4 we went to sleep haha, it was hilarious but for once, meaningful.. good memories :)
super depressed today, missed my IPPT test aka NAPFA test due to this horrid extremely bloodily clogged blister on my left foot, can't even walk properly let alone run my 2.4km.. the worst part is that I'll have to go back to tekong after graduation to retake my IPPT.. ARGH!
miraculously, I'm not really worried abt my A level results, I guess I'm mentally prepared to fail flat haha.. oh well.. can't change anything now..
