yesterday's parade rehearsal reached a scorching 35 degree celsius, yet it felt like it was raining, the sounds of soldiers dropping to the ground one by one like raindrops "Kaplonk ! Ka plooonk!" .. cries for "MEDIC!" could be heard throughout the massive parade square at SAFTI MI.. 5 medics can we seen racing across to pick up the fallen soldier, bringing him to the side for Intravenous Infusion (i.e. Drip) my favourite :)
sirens could be heard from a distance away, fortunately not those of the ambulance, just the camp's siren stating CAT 2, which indicates extremely hot weather and all activity has to be stopped.. and we just stood there embracing the onslaught of the sun's rays helplessly.. the parade went on..
at least I'm dark-skinned now :)
gonna meet up wif my classmates today for a movie, and perhaps Lan.. if there's time.
gonna get my SAF pay very soon! and my pay from my parents for babysitting my siblings wif lots of piano lessons.. argh.
