anyway.. had a great time today at this year's christmas party in church!

workin in the games committee was great! hopefully i'll get more opportunities next time!

have been going to church for baptism sessions these past few days..
and pastor mentioned something like there will be spiritual attacks leading to the day of confirmation..

and it's really true..

really going through many tests of faith now.. tests of character..

WARNING LONG POST AHEAD..


this week has been one of the greatest weeks in the year, and the week where I got the least sleep this year.. haha.. waking up early twice to see the mission teams, staying over in church.. woohoo

FRIDAY

yeah fri night, attended the casting crowns concert at Evangel Family Church wif the ycers.. wooo.. the concert was great :)
anyway.. supper after that was great tooo ! enjoyed the company :) anton and I shared a HUGE MUG of longan juice+longan.. i think it was 3 bucks haha.. but it was fun :)

SATURDAY

finally got to catch wif lost slp on fri night, ended up waking up at 12pm on sat haha.. picked ah lapz up at 3pm at bukit panjang plaza, then we drove down to far east plaza to get our hairs dyed! haha.. it was our first time getting our hair dyed in a salon, so it was quite an experience :) i guess i really thank God that my hair turned out great hahaha.. will show u a pic maybe next time..

we proceeded to church to join the rest for dinner... then we had a great time of games in church for fun! haha.. stayed over in church to play cranium/taboo/settlers with ian, joel, nicole, mervyn, queenie, pastor, anton, charity, pui :) so funnnn!
we ended our game at 3am.. ( we were supposed to wake up at 7 the next day for walkathon).. but a few of us decided to set up the PS2 to game somemore hahaha.. played nba live and.. guess what... GODZILLA!.. hahahaa.. it was one of the most retarded and hilarious games ive ever played on a ps2.. hahaha.. imagine Godzilla 2000 vs Godzilla '90s fighting each other in Tokyo City.. hahaha.. throwing buildings at each other, slamming each other, shooting laser beams at each other.. whhahaha.. hilarious..

SUNDAY

today was WALKATHON DAY! the whole church gathered at esplanade for worship b4 we started our short walkathon for our church building.. we all had a great time mingling with each other and catching up with one another..
then in the afternoon we had about 4-5 hrs of basketball and captain's ball.. yeah.. shagged myself out again..

after tt, Lionel, Bianca, Nathan, timmy, kevin and I went to have our dinner at meridien, then we caught DejaVu at PS... that show was better than I expected :) go catch it soon :) confirm will love it.. haha..
after the movie, we thought we could get a ride home from the church van, but it ended up stalling haha.. we tried pushing the van to jump start it.. but it didnt work.. but i managed to take a picture of it.. :)

Had a greeaaaaaaaaaaaat time at Daniel's place last night!
it was a meant to be a surprise dinner for his farewell to Pulau Tekong, but he figured out somehow, and only Anton and Junice were early to surprise him hahaha.. the rest came later..
The fooood was gooooooooooood! prepared by Dan's maid :) DELICIOUS SHEPERD's PIE!
then we had a great time of NBA Live on Dan's XBOX! haha.. Anton just spices up the mood everywhere he goes laaa.. thank God for bringing Anton into my life :)
Then we watched this HongKong Mahjong comedy movie, i think it's called "Zi Mo 2" if im not wrong.. hahaa.. really really hilarious movie, tt's where PUI learnt his nipple pinching move from hahaha..

decided to stayover at Isaac's place so tt we could go to the airport to send the Thailand team off the next morning at 5am.. haha.. Isaac slept at 3am -.- tt guy champion laaa.. i had 4 hrs of slp and wanted to die liao.. and he had abt 1 and a half -.-..

argh I was so tired that I called Daniel on the hp to look for him when he was just beside me -.- I was so tired that I forgot to bug yingnuo and remind her to get me a redbull singlet.. looks like i dun think i'll get it liao.. hahaha

yet again.. missing everyone every min after they left :(

sitting around in my office, I come to realise that Im gonna miss all the KY bloggers who went for mission trip like Alysson, Limxi, yingnuo,sean tan, andy, kelsie, miaofeng.. hope i didnt miss anyone out..
BUT TWO WEEKS without any updates from them is like.. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! im gonna die in my office!..
God give them internet access in their mission trips!!

oh.. i think im gonna dye my hair! Probably this Saturday :O
argh.. AgaIn.. have to wait for two weeks for them to come back and see my hair :( argh argh argh..

went to send the Myanmar team off this morning.. was really surprised to see soooo many ppl there! I guess this is what we call the YC family :) gonna miss soooo many ppl :( especially my two younger siblings :(


so many things coming up the next few days, not sure whether I can stay awake in office any longer hahaha..

going for casting crowns concert tmr night, might bid a gd farewell to Daniel b4 he leaves to Tekong, probably staying over at Ian's house to get a lift to the airport to see the THAILAND team this Friday.. at 4am.. yes.. 4am.. woohoO! i think i might just sleep the whole of saturday :)


I feel that I'm opening up to more ycers.. but.. there's still a tad of shyness when i approach certain ppl.. or when they approach me.. i dunno.. after having been in this church for so many years, I still dont noe many ppl that well :(
Pray that God will just help me to get over this shy personality.. and just be myself..

so.. if I seem DAO to u.. pls forgive me.. hahaha..

anyway it was back to work, monday blues..so much work to catch up as I was away for JYC camp.. but it was worth it :)

one special friend came to accompany me for lunch today to celebrate my bday haha.. and that was GOD :) yeah i decided to spend my time alone wif God during lunch today, marvelling at how awesome he has been to me for the past few months.
yeah and JESUS UR MY BEST FRIEND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE THAT.. you nv forget my bday tooo :):)

finally I've got time to blog again :)

past few days have been PRETTY EXCITING!

lemme start wif the jyc camp that I attended on thurs/fri.

initially my main purpose was to accompany Ernest in the camp and guide him along, but I managed to learn so much during the camp, and it was life changing.

1) I learnt to store treasures in heaven, and not earthly stuff that will be meaningless in the future. I struggled, and tried to love the unloved,but God gave me strength to do that.

2) Decided that playing too much computer games were a waste of time, and decided to quit and focus on God instead

3) Since I have more time in my hands, I dedicate my time to God by doing quiet time. In my numerous years in Church, 2 Dec 2006 was the first day I did quiet time alone at home. SHOCKED.

4) Learnt to trust the Lord completely, and not to worry so much.

Anyway, overall the camp was really fun and enjoyable :) The games were really great, and workshops were meaningful too! Had a great time with the people around my siblings' age, and I felt God calling me to serve in JYC, hopefully I will do that.

alright that's abt the photos during the camp.

then came saturday morning. found out my siblings had to get to amk to clean up a house for mission trip fund raising. BEING A KIND SOUL, I fetched them to the house and even helped with the cleaning (actually i was bored at home haha), with God's provision, the auntie gave us 200 bucks for the effort! woohoo really high above market rate value laaa..

evening came, went to wheelock to get a crumpler bag for my bday present :) will upload a pic of it when i have time :) so happy when I got it haha..
met up wif Ernest for dinner wif my family and after tt ernest came over to stay at our house so that we could go to church together..

yay they got a cake for me and joses in church :) joses bday was on 1dec..


had many good games of basketball today :)
after church ALL OF US went to chinatown to have 2 dollars chicken rice wahhaha.. super cheap laa.. and it was a record breaking 27 ppl who went to eat! yc record! yeah after dinner we headed down to pandan valley to have waffles at some cafe, but waffles were sold out, but I had a SUPER HILARIOUS time with Nicole, Brian, Anais, Jiahao, Reggie playing....... TABOO! wahaha.. super funny la.. especially when there were words like "G-string, implants, butt, menopause -.-" haha..

I guess spending time with my church friends is the best bday gift i can ever get laaaaaaaaaa...

but.. got to sleep now, have to WORK TMR! shucks.. and cant join them for Sentosa tmr :(
