drank at least 5 cups of coffee during the seminar ytd.. actually currently blogging now during the 2nd session of seminar hahahah.. met up wif may, ben, lionel, jiahao last night, ended up at starbucks near paragon.. drank another cup of frapuccino.. haha.. caffeine high last night..

although i was mentally tired, i couldnt really slp.. ended up talking nonsense the whole night wif may and ben, continued to crap wif may until 3am hahaha.. ultra pure nonsense.. lol..

God really provides.. seriously.. we couldnt get tickets for the singapore vs thailand as the grandstand tickets were sold out really fast.. may ben lionel and I decided to watch it in church..

really wanna thank God and rejoice!.. 4 tickets.. just nice for 4 of us :) really miraculous..

looking forward to tonight's round of cheering :)

gonna attend this seminar from tmr to thurs, hafta wear smart casual for the first time for this job...

went to jurong point for lunch and went shopping for a stripey long sleeve shirt haha.. found one at man studio, found my size and proceeded to the counter..
"That will be $59 for the pink shirt"

i was stunned.. i thought it was white wif light brown stripes or something.. turned out to be pink.. didn't wanna change coz i was rushing for time.. hahaha.. so malu.. colourblindness hahaha..

anyway the wind at tuas is super super strong today.. dunno what's up wif the weather.. decided to splash cold water all over my face and neck and walk against the wind.. guess what..
I felt like I was back in Australia wif the cold wind blowing at me.. haha.. the feeling was really shiok la.. cheap thrills at work :)

cant wait for work to end.. 3 more hrs

what a long tiring day today was..
woke up like 7 plus to follow my parents to church to get a free ride.. haha
thought i cud slp at the office but i was wrong..

was super sleepy during the pre-worship prayer, prayed against weariness and lethargy and prepared myself for jyc.. i guess seeing all the younger ones during jyc helped me wake up a little..
but i was still too tired to talk to anyone :(
was like forcing myself to.. and it kinda sucked..

worship during yc was really powerful though, and that really woke me up and shook me..
hehe i was really attentive during yc, had really sour skittles to keep me awake hahaha.. then after yc i was immediately back to zombie mode.. like *snap*.. i think my body's giving way on me or something..

had worship ministry meeting after yc.. yeah packed day.. nothing got into my system.. feeling really moody..

had family dinner, reached home, first thing I did was to get rid of my stuff in my "pandora's box" and I threw them away hur hur.. feel so light now..

just returned home from kallang stadium speechless, number one because the whole experience was awesome, number two, I lost my voice hur hur.. speechless :P

met pui, shaun, astrid, zak, grace and rob at kallang mrt, simon mary emily and julia joined us for dinner later on..

when we got to the grandstands at the stadium, the whole stadium was already almost full, like 55,000 ppl were there lor.. and abt less than 100 malaysian supporters in yellow :) it was an awesome sight la.. a sea of red :)

anyway.. i really enjoyed myself a whole lot man! the cheerings, the kallang wave.. OH MAN THE KALLANG WAVE WAS HILARIOUS.. the wave started from the peeps just beside the malaysian supporters and it went one round the stadium.. .when the wave reached the malaysian supporters again.. instead of continuing the wave, the malaysians just stayed in their seats and all swayed to one side.. very hard to describe.. but it was like a ripple in the kallang wave hahaha.. super funny people :)

alright.. what I enjoyed the most was the funny hilarious people cheering near us..

funny grp no. 1 :
a group of ahlians together wif 2 guys i think... oh man.. they were starting their own private cheers wif their high pitched voices... like "let's go Singapore let's go *clap clap*".. and no one else joined them hahahaha.. everyone turned and stared at them.. a grp of malays even replied.. "GO WHERE".. like "let's go Singapore let's go.. GO WHERE!" hahhaa.. friggin funny laaa..
they had so many other cheers as well.. as if they were in some high sch competition hahaa.. "We are proud of u *clap clap* Yes we are proud of you" then some malay started dancing.. whahhaa..

funny person no.2:
this really psyched up malay youngster was screaming non-stop! referee kayu, stop wasting time malaysia,blah blah.. seriously non-stop, and he was the only one standing hahaha..

a few funny screams i took to memory

"GO TAKE BUS 170 AND GO HOME LAAA, STOP WASTING TIME" -my favourite

"REFEREE YOU LOST YOUR YELLOW CARDS AH!"

"STAND UP LA, GOT LEGS CANNOT WALK AH"

of course, these were usually accompanied by vulgarities hhaha..

my colleagues can't spell my name..
(mind you some of them are from India/Malaysia)

but the variations of name really baffles me.. How can??

ive been given spellings like "mathiu", "madhew" , "matew"... can't rem the rest..
HOW CAN MADHEW! hahha.. these variations of my name are found in their phone books.. imagine when I'm calling one of them and "MADHEW calling... " appears.. AHHHH!

anyway, just got to sniff my monthly timesheet today, which records my time in time out for the month of Jan :) woohoo! i smell shopping :)


i'll be going for a 3-day course on my project next week , tues to thurs, held at bugis.. all those working in town pls keep ur lunch hrs free haha! i might be calling! hopefully..

had jyc meeting in church ytd :)
really really really touched and amazedd by how Ian Wong's going out of his way to help this person I'm struggling with ... and how he has sacrificed his time while I sometimes complain abt it..

this is love

what I learnt thru the meeting is "Love from God will break barriers, conquer everthing that might seem impossible"

this love is so real, although it might not seem feasible because of today's society..

anyway talking abt love,
Valentine's day is coming haha..
William's gonna speak during JYC on his wisdom abt love hahaha.. God bless you!

I guess this year's Valentine's day's gonna be spent wif God and family :) unless someone wants some company, you can call me!! hahahaha.. sry a bit thick skinned..

anyway God never fails to provide in every possible way..
Just ytd, Grace khoo msged me at 1 plus asking whether I wanted tix for Singapore vs Malaysia this Sat coz Simon was gonna get them.. and I only got the msg when I left the project plant after work as there wasn't any reception in it.. that was like 5 plus, and Simon already bought the tickets.. really sad at the thought that I couldnt join the ycers..

then God provided, 10 mins ago, my friend just msged me offering to help me buy tickets!!
how amazing God is..
although my friend knew I wasn't much of a soccer fan, but somehow he still msged me to ask me!

my office has internet connection again!!! muahahaaha..

nothing much happened today, Mervyn saw me board the bus from my workplace on his way to Jurong Island today haha.. that lucky guy got to drive his company car..

today i finally realised how precious this job of mine is.. and im gonna treasure what God gave me by working doubly hard..

oh well..

my back's getting better!

spent $75 on TCM methods to try to fix my back.. the pain got worse and i had to endure torture

spent $12 recently at a polyclinic.. the pain's lessening already! haiz..TCM..

can't wait for my back to completely heal and get back to losing some weight and playing b ball!! and remember to stretch b4 playing.. haha

haiz this entry is so random..

I can't do it, im still being shallow all the time..

I just started watching "24" !!! woohoo exciting!

im sitting next to loud machinery and huge tankers typing this post haha..
managed to find a wireless spot outside the cabin :)

ive been meeting the same grp of peeps lately, ben may andy shawn ahlap joses grace, most of us are working but somehow we manage to find time to meet, sometimes for an hour, other times the whole day! amazing how God can bring ppl closer just like that!

crashed NgeeAnn poly ytd, amazed by NgeeAnn's massive and resourceful library! they have LCD monitors at one area for ppl to catch vcds/dvds, huge tvs to watch cable tv, a cafe in the library, and all these are found in one level only, didnt manage to check out the 4 other levels! massive is an understatement la..

and the number of pretty girls in ngeeann just amazes me also lar.. but ahlap was like.. it's getting worse and worse.. oh wells... and grace khoo brought us around ngeeann, she knows like almost everyone in the school la... madness..
joses may and I all said the same thing, "HOW TO STUDY IN NGEEANN POLY!"
hahaha..

i survived last night's torture! yesh! but my back still hurts! pray for me ppl pls! thanks!

something interesting happened just now at macs, saw this middle age man walk straight into a glass wall, didnt noe these things still happened, i guess that dude didnt have enuf sleep the night before or something..

oh well, shit happens..

anyway, one of my closer friends just went to melbourne, hopefully can organise a trip to melbourne b4 i enter NUS or something.. or maybe add goldcoast too.. hahaha.. dream dream dream.. dreammmmmmmmmmmm.. anyone in support say AYE!

oh thanks to my bro who bought back a guitar from myanmar, im spending most of my time learning the art of guitaring now haha.. trying to learn Tommy Emmanuel's Angelina haha.. go check it out on youtube or something.. it's like the hardest song ever la.. but it sounds soo.. EMO.. haha.. gimme one month and im gonna master it.. my PRO guitarist friend took 2 weeks.. lol.. so one month is my goal!

managed to learn the intro so far hahaha.. tts like 12 bars of notes, after that it gets so difficult that i'm doing like.. one bar a day :) slow and steady yeah haha..

supposed to send my friend a clip of my completed ANGELINA in 2 weeks.. haha.. coz i told him I could match him.. but come to think of it, 2 weeks might not be enuf hahahaa..



anyway, ive got so many pics yet to be posted, probably 2 pics a day or something.. coz it's so troublesome haha.. tts all for my rantings today..

ytd had a great time at jyc worshipping and playing games wif the younger ones..
but a few things happened one after the other nearing the end of the jyc session that really spoilt my mood :( they happened so quickly, one after the other that i didnt guard my heart and ended up making me really unhappy inside, which shouldnt have happened.. regretted not seeking the Lord for directions at the moment..

then Pastor Lilian suddenly said during worship in YC to not let anything or anyone hold you down hindering your walk with God, and instead FORGIVE that one person that has hurt or disappointed you just as God has forgiven us everytime.

after service had a great time catching up with people! i really thank God for bringing me into the YC family since young and letting me appreciate them! had a great time playing cranium turbo after that haha wif the ycers! oh man.. i think it was even more fun compared to those during the bintan trip! hahaha... ASK ME ABOUT TANY's CRANIUM BOOBOO IF U SEE THIS HAHAHA!

dinner was wif ben wu, may, shawn and andy at sunshine plaza's wan ton mee :) had an even greater time wif them, cracking jokes, laughing at each other's poor chinese, irritating May! hahahaha..

oh btw, im blogging from macs now, and there's this REALLY CUTE GIRL (with braces though) in front of me! ahhhhhhhhhh! she looks like priscella chan, actress.. chan or chen cant rem..

ive decided to stop searching for skin-deep beauty, but to listen to God's directions when it comes to girls haha.. really contradicting to the previous paragraph hor, but it's true,
i realised that i'll never be ever happy in the long run if I pursue girls with my hormones leading me hur hur..



anyway.. tonight's 2nd round of torture on the back for me! ahhhhh!!! CANT WAIT! -.-

i have been having aching pains on my lower right back for 2 weeks liao.. and my mom brought me to this chinese physician at ang mo kio this afternoon..
soon after hearing abt the pain, he got me to lie on my tummy added 4 suction things on my back.. started to get really burning after that.. then he started slapping my thighs wif some wet object, like some cheap thrill, for like.. 10 mins? then he cut thinly on my thighs to let blood out dunno for what..

yesh and i have to repeat this torture again on monday night.. .ahhhH!!!!

finally found the time to blog :)

2006 has been the greatest year for me yet! and the past few weeks have been the happiest weeks of my life :)

- I was confirmed/baptised on CHRISTMAS :)
- got to share with the church on watchnight service :)
- stayed over more days in church than at home for the past week
-went to bintan with 15 other ycers from 2-4jan.. ROCKS!!!!
don't have the bintan photos yet.. will upload them asap.

basically we went to bintan to eat/play/play/play/play/sleep
learnt gin rummy! so fun! haha.. getting the hang of it!
played mini-waterpolo and mini-basketball at the resort pool.. super shiok la!

i guess the best part of the trip was getting to know the 15 others much better :)
i was like telling one of them how nice if all of us could enjoy life liddat forever hahaha.. dream dream

came back on thurs night, still didnt wanna go home haha.. hung out in church for a while and had dinner at XO beehoon at HV wif a few of them..

friday, crashed acjc/acsi with benwu hahaha.. man.. i miss my school alot!!! and the 1990 batch has so many pretty girls!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh! why my batch dun have :(:(

proceeded to PS to walk around and met up with andy later.. didnt manage to get what i wanted.. oh well.. another day! argh back to work next monday! BUAY TA HAN!
oh i managed to do a handstand after cell.. forgetting that I had an injured lower back already.. yeah i aggravated my back.. and now it hurts like mad.. hopefully it goes away in a week or something.. pray pray !
