just returned home from kallang stadium speechless, number one because the whole experience was awesome, number two, I lost my voice hur hur.. speechless :P
met pui, shaun, astrid, zak, grace and rob at kallang mrt, simon mary emily and julia joined us for dinner later on..
when we got to the grandstands at the stadium, the whole stadium was already almost full, like 55,000 ppl were there lor.. and abt less than 100 malaysian supporters in yellow :) it was an awesome sight la.. a sea of red :)
anyway.. i really enjoyed myself a whole lot man! the cheerings, the kallang wave.. OH MAN THE KALLANG WAVE WAS HILARIOUS.. the wave started from the peeps just beside the malaysian supporters and it went one round the stadium.. .when the wave reached the malaysian supporters again.. instead of continuing the wave, the malaysians just stayed in their seats and all swayed to one side.. very hard to describe.. but it was like a ripple in the kallang wave hahaha.. super funny people :)
alright.. what I enjoyed the most was the funny hilarious people cheering near us..
funny grp no. 1 :
a group of ahlians together wif 2 guys i think... oh man.. they were starting their own private cheers wif their high pitched voices... like "let's go Singapore let's go *clap clap*".. and no one else joined them hahahaha.. everyone turned and stared at them.. a grp of malays even replied.. "GO WHERE".. like "let's go Singapore let's go.. GO WHERE!" hahhaa.. friggin funny laaa..
they had so many other cheers as well.. as if they were in some high sch competition hahaa.. "We are proud of u *clap clap* Yes we are proud of you" then some malay started dancing.. whahhaa..
funny person no.2:
this really psyched up malay youngster was screaming non-stop! referee kayu, stop wasting time malaysia,blah blah.. seriously non-stop, and he was the only one standing hahaha..
a few funny screams i took to memory
"GO TAKE BUS 170 AND GO HOME LAAA, STOP WASTING TIME" -my favourite
"REFEREE YOU LOST YOUR YELLOW CARDS AH!"
"STAND UP LA, GOT LEGS CANNOT WALK AH"
of course, these were usually accompanied by vulgarities hhaha..
anyway, I will upload the photos once i get them from shaun :)
