just came back from a trip to Krabi with Jason and Jiahao, I must say I had a great time over there, jam packed with activities! God was there with us throughout the trip, and he brought out the sun even though it was the rainy season over at Thailand :)
I shall use pictures to elaborate on the trip
This is where we stayed for the first night. It's a cheap backpackers lodge, the room's hot and stuffy, with rock hard beds, we didn't sleep well on our first night, but I guess we have to sacrifice a bit with the low budget we have
This is Krabi Town, where we stayed overnight. We were waiting for a van which would bring us to the beach resort where we would stay for the next 3 nights.
This is the little tourist spot at Ao Nang beach, where we pretty much had our meals for the 3 days we had at Ao Nang beach.
The next 2 photos are some hilarious wordings found at the shops at Ao Nang beach.. A pharmacist is a druggist in thailand?! What on earth.. SIMILAN islands.. we really laughed till we penged. if u dun understand hokkien too bad for u haha
there's a restrictive timing for purchase of alcohol in krabi!?

this resort gave us the feeling of serenity, the feeling of escape from the outside world
waiting for our speedboat to take us to different islands to snorkel :)
the speedboat ride itself was awesome man..together with the choppy waves, itwas one hell of a ride..see how messed up our hair was.. haha
we snorkelled near caves, many many fishes :) we got to bring our bread down to feed the fishes by hand even! rocks :)
oh my mouthpiece was dropping sliding off the mask and i didnt realise it until after posing for a shot, then the tour guide asked me where my mouthpiece was.. then i was like.. "CRAPPPPP, IT's underwater.. and it's really deep".. then she went.. "nvm.. pay me TWO HUNDRED BAHT".. then my heart sank. urgh. yucks. 200 baht for a mouthpiece. had to pay her in the end though for being careless

then we headed to Maya Bay, a very nice cove with huge waves, but it was overcrowded with ppl, so we just went trigger happy at the beach. jiahao and I were observing how different ppl from different countries have different poses in front of a camera. there were these 2 girls from China posing like they were the cutest bunnies on earth with peace signs and twists and bloating their face up to look like bunnies.
the korean men on the beach were carrying their spouses on their shoulders to pose for the camera. EVERY KOREAN MAN was doing it.. no matter how huge the Korean women were.
we singaporeans will just pose wif a sian face or retarded look. hur hur
the next day we took a small boat to Railay Island I must say it has the nicest beach in Krabi. We just spent the whole day swimming, throwing a mini rugby ball around, exploring the remnants of the tsunami that hit the islands,building sand structures, appreciating the marine life we found, enjoying the sun :)

going off to Krabi with Jiahao and Jason tmr night! hope that it's gonna be a really fun trip and the weather will be good!
this week has been really great for me :) thank God.
really really relieved that I've finally stopped work, got more time and space to do my own stuff in the morning.. especially exercising
so many hilarious stuff happened this week
sam was eating oyster omelette on thurs.. i hated oyster, but i wanted to try some of the omelette.. so there was this gooey stuff on the egg, then i asked her.. is that oyster??? she was like.. no la.. that's not oyster, that's kueh.. then i said " Huh.. where got kueh in oyster omelette " then she said got wad.. then why they call it char kway teow.. there's kway in char kway teow wad..
then i burst out laughing
mother's day today planned a treasure hunt for mom.. told tany that i better give easy clues.. if not we wont be able to reach church on time if she cant figure out the clues haha..
so the first clue was like roses are red violets are blue sugar is sweet as sweet as you..
and my mom went straight to the flower basket.. when the next clue was at the sugar box. and just so happens.. my present was hidden in the flower basket. and it's like the final place to go.. so she just tycoly jumped from first clue to final spot. so i stopped her in time.
then the second clue was roses are red violets are blue keys are in two colours neither red nor blue
and she went straight to the key box.. the clue's not there.. durh then i asked her to think out of the box.. then she was like.. er.. turkey? our house got turkey meh.. -.- anyway.. the clue was supposed to lead to the piano. black and white keys. hur hur. and from the piano she finally got to the flower box. at least she was happy :)
and last hilarious thing of the week after captain's ball today we played basketball, guys vs girls guy team : tany, me , julian girl team : sam, miao, nicole , may, kuan yin for a while
the stake of the game was quite high. so we played our hearts out. we were losing at the later part of the game, down by 2 points, and the girls had their match point.. but with the stake so high, we persevered and guarded the ball wif our lives.. hahahaa.. and we won 11-10 !!! WAHHAHA! phew so sam and miao u noe what to do hahahaha
anyway.. gonna miss you guys man. gonna miss my class outing too :(

haven't been thinking straight for the past few days...
can feel symptoms of recovery today haha...
I think my crankiness was due to my loss of many things over the past few days...
here goes:
Lost my book to my form teacher as I was reading during chapel.
Lost my water bottle somewhere in school.
Lost my will to study
Lost my mind
Lost my sense of direction
Lost my grip of my stuff such as my violin, music stand, mel's plastic cups?! haha..
Lost my balance coz of the loss of strength in my legs...
THE ONLY THING I HAVEN'T LOST IS MY WEIGHT! WHY!? SO UNFAIR :(

Spiderman 3 rocks! It wasn't possible without tany and Ian Wong planning.. and I must say it's the largest movie group I've been with in my entire life.. haha.. amazingly we got tickets for 33 people..
Many new stuff coming up for me!
For a start, I'm finally leaving my job after 6 months, woohoO! really looking forward to waking up later every morning! Probably leaving this friday :)
Then, hopefully, I'll be going to Thailand for holiday wif a few ycers next week :) hope everything runs smoothly :)
mm.. I'll be going for a teeny lil minor surgery to remove a cyst from my hand, probably after I return from Thailand. pray that everything will turn out well :)
hmm.. more bdays coming up hur. haha. and.. Jyc camp too!
still thinking of whether to commit to a basketball mission trip on 11-23 June. I'll have NUS orientation from 25-29 June, then Big Hooha on the 30th.. busy busy june man! haha.

had a wonderful time at cell today, we split up into guys and girls. i love having an all guys session, everyone's more open
anyway joel shared about love in relationships, about the difference between how a guy and girl responds with love, how a guy will think logically most of the time while the girl will be led by their emotions, almost all the time.. heh.. how as a guy, we must learn to give in and be the FIRST to apologise how as a guy, we must not slam the phone or walk away or do these kinda stupid stuff, but face the situation and apologise.. i remember doing all these stupid things last time.. hur hur
i learnt much much more, but can't seem to remember now. hur hur. so glad to always get to learn life skills such as this in church
