just came back from a trip to Krabi with Jason and Jiahao, I must say I had a great time over there, jam packed with activities! God was there with us throughout the trip, and he brought out the sun even though it was the rainy season over at Thailand :)
I shall use pictures to elaborate on the trip
This is where we stayed for the first night. It's a cheap backpackers lodge, the room's hot and stuffy, with rock hard beds, we didn't sleep well on our first night, but I guess we have to sacrifice a bit with the low budget we have
This is Krabi Town, where we stayed overnight. We were waiting for a van which would bring us to the beach resort where we would stay for the next 3 nights.
This is the little tourist spot at Ao Nang beach, where we pretty much had our meals for the 3 days we had at Ao Nang beach.

there's a restrictive timing for purchase of alcohol in krabi!?

this resort gave us the feeling of serenity, the feeling of escape from the outside world
waiting for our speedboat to take us to different islands to snorkel :)
the speedboat ride itself was awesome man..together with the choppy waves, itwas one hell of a ride..see how messed up our hair was.. haha
we snorkelled near caves, many many fishes :) we got to bring our bread down to feed the fishes by hand even! rocks :)
oh my mouthpiece was dropping sliding off the mask and i didnt realise it until after posing for a shot, then the tour guide asked me where my mouthpiece was.. then i was like.. "CRAPPPPP, IT's underwater.. and it's really deep".. then she went.. "nvm.. pay me TWO HUNDRED BAHT".. then my heart sank. urgh. yucks. 200 baht for a mouthpiece. had to pay her in the end though for being careless

then we headed to Maya Bay, a very nice cove with huge waves, but it was overcrowded with ppl, so we just went trigger happy at the beach. jiahao and I were observing how different ppl from different countries have different poses in front of a camera.
there were these 2 girls from China posing like they were the cutest bunnies on earth with peace signs and twists and bloating their face up to look like bunnies.
the korean men on the beach were carrying their spouses on their shoulders to pose for the camera. EVERY KOREAN MAN was doing it.. no matter how huge the Korean women were.
we singaporeans will just pose wif a sian face or retarded look. hur hur
the next day we took a small boat to Railay Island
I must say it has the nicest beach in Krabi.
We just spent the whole day swimming, throwing a mini rugby ball around, exploring the remnants of the tsunami that hit the islands,building sand structures, appreciating the marine life we found, enjoying the sun :)

last day was at rock climbing :) then it was off to Singapore. home sweet home.
