God has been great this week :)
Tutorials just started this week, and I've successfully conquered one week of it.
So many activities throughout the week, interblock games, band meetings, interviews... thank God for giving me a good night sleep everyday :)
another thing to thank God for was giving me the opportunity to join the Eusoff main band, Second Nature. I hope that through this opportunity, I would be able to pick up some new skills from playing as a band, and apply it in church ? maybe. hopefully. haha
and thank God for enrolling me into the cca Exxon Mobil. Basically it's a publicity CCA which organises Campus Concerts for NUS. From this CCA, hopefully I'll learn some publicity skills as well :)
Next step for me is to sign up for Eusoff Expedition, as a member. It's like a mission trip kinda thing, going to Cambodia to do community work i think.. oh well.. see how God leads me.

i went for eusoff band auditions ytd..
went really unprepared..
was auditioning for keyboards and vocals..
went there wif my drummer friend..
i was super super uber nervous.. didnt know what to expect, and i was gonna play "HOME" by Chris Daughtry, a piece which I havent really played on keyboard b4.. but i was prepared to improvise on the spot.. coz i couldnt think of any other piece to play on keyboard..
when i stepped into the band room, i was super shocked to see so many auditioners, those from the current eusoff band, and they are REALLY GOOD.. oh well.. as expected, i was too nervous to play anything for sane ppl to hear.. i planned to sing and play keyboard simultaneously,.. but ended up either singing acapella or playing without singing.. super kanchiong i tell u..
anyway they were really nice ppl, thank God, they guided me through the audition, one guy even played the guitar so that i can do fill-ins and just play a bit here and there.
then they allowed me to use the guitar to play HOME instead.. but my voice was cracky and like a broken radio.. it was softer than the guitar playing too.. i thought to myself.. "GG" i wont make it..
BUT
Amazingly, through God's grace, I saw the results today, and i was one of the few successful ppl. first meeting's next wed :) cant wait.. see what God has in store for me :)

had a great time at church :)
i must say that going to church really revitalises me,
how meeting God is so incredible, and how He's able to remove my stress and anxiety when I come into His presence
really happy to see my friends who love God as well :)
had a great time of jamming, trying out different instruments, killing everyone wif my horrid singing as well haha.
then it was Big Hooha appreciation dinner, wah the food rocks! i guess Big Hooha wouldn't be a success without God!
it was my lil bro's bday ytd too! he's not so lil anymore
i hope he will remember and treasure the love he gets from everyone, and his new ipod haha

on our bus journey home after church with ben and may, the fellow westies :)
can't rem how many countless cam-whoring bus trips we have. haha
remember when we were young and we used to enjoy sitting on these automated machines which cost 10cents or 20cents.. i saw a few of those in vivo. omg.. it's $1 now. haha. and it's not bcoz of GST..
oh well.
going to watch rush hour 3 wif the thurs gang later :)
can't wait!

the group of friends who are staying wif me, the supper gang :)
anyway.. i cut my hair today. not as bad as the other times haha.
oh im doing this module called computing and society.
20% of the total marks goes to creating a personal blog through NUS and blogging abt my views on the lecture.. ahhaha.. easy marks
and today was the first time I used java. typed in codes to make this turtle move around the screen, using the turtle to draw shapes. haha.. kinda cool, but tedious.

having a 3 hr lecture now.
at the comp lab..
if i were still in secondary sch, i would be super overjoyed. 3 hrs of online gaming!
but now. argh. 3 hrs of programming. 3 hrs of problem solving.. ahhhhh

hmmm.. List of 10 weird habits.. ( i thought we did this b4 )
In no particular order
1) When I have a list of things to do, I will do a bit of no.1, then a bit of no.2,then no.3.. then go back to no.1 again.. I cannot complete one thing at a time.
2) I have very bad memory. I will set reminders on my phone for almost everything.. and for the most important stuff, I will have a reminder every hourly
3) I love to crack my toe knuckles
4) I love to articulately appreciate external female beauty
5) I can sleep in any position I can find
6) I wanna try every sport in the world before I die
7) Is laziness a weird habit?
8) I can't think of any more weird habits
9) I think I'm not weird enough
10)Oh I reached 10 :)

my new phase of life started off quite well
settled in nicely into my room in eusoff, no complains :)
just got my laptop ytd :) really love it. but it's a tad bulky
i passed my english test :) thank God!
anyway this is called "ring of fire"
where everyone sits in a circle, face to the left, and lie on each others laps
then the chairs under us will slowly be pulled away one by one... see how long we can last in that position.. kinda tiring actually haha..
i miss these ppl :(
