i went for eusoff band auditions ytd..
went really unprepared..
was auditioning for keyboards and vocals..
went there wif my drummer friend..
i was super super uber nervous.. didnt know what to expect, and i was gonna play "HOME" by Chris Daughtry, a piece which I havent really played on keyboard b4.. but i was prepared to improvise on the spot.. coz i couldnt think of any other piece to play on keyboard..
when i stepped into the band room, i was super shocked to see so many auditioners, those from the current eusoff band, and they are REALLY GOOD.. oh well.. as expected, i was too nervous to play anything for sane ppl to hear.. i planned to sing and play keyboard simultaneously,.. but ended up either singing acapella or playing without singing.. super kanchiong i tell u..
anyway they were really nice ppl, thank God, they guided me through the audition, one guy even played the guitar so that i can do fill-ins and just play a bit here and there.
then they allowed me to use the guitar to play HOME instead.. but my voice was cracky and like a broken radio.. it was softer than the guitar playing too.. i thought to myself.. "GG" i wont make it..
BUT
Amazingly, through God's grace, I saw the results today, and i was one of the few successful ppl. first meeting's next wed :) cant wait.. see what God has in store for me :)
