office politics are amazing..
it's amazing how a boss can scold the crap out of the people under him for negligence, how they can sort of patch up and start laughing at each other's jokes after a while.. then talking behind each other's backs a while later..
it's become part of what i see everyday already, and sometimes it's kinda frustrating to hear them, and i get to hear both sides coz im just a temp staff there.
sometimes these can be avoided if ppl just use their brains and not have to follow strictly to the book, or give just a little grace.. hais.

huahh.. i was just adding links to ppl's blogs.. and i was thinking what alphabet comes after 'L'.. the first alphabet that came to my mind was 'G'
wahhahaha. inside joke.
anyway.
holy week has just passed, i must say it's one of the craziest weekends this year for me
and the message has been the same throughout the week

Pastor Boon Chiau shared about being decisive, making right turns in life, sometimes even U-turns, when God encounters you. Just as Moses encountered God at the burning bush, we must be vigilant and be able to KNOW when God encounters us, and be ready to respond, and not let it pass by.

our generation's addicted to sugar
sugar makes food sweet, brings comfort to us when we eat.
however, cancer cells feed on sugar as well, one in three people in the world will get cancer in this generation.
cancer cells causes an organ to lose its functions
we must starve the cancer by cutting down on sugar
similarly, cancer in church refers to us being too self-centred, too comfortable with what we have,good friends, that we forget about our destiny in church
just like cancer, slowly different parts of the church will lose its functions.
we need to stop this cancer by cutting down on the "sugar", or the comforts in our lives, the comforts of this world
too much sugar makes a FAT christian. :)

sorry for the really delayed update
just started work at Veolia, the company i worked for a year ago.
not much has changed, other than the boss in charge. ppl still the same over there.
still fighting the zzzz monster over there.. but i guess im doing a better job than last time haha..
Over and out just ended :)
